The University of Texas of the Permian Basin offers a year-round Intensive English Program with a variety of levels to help students by listening, speaking, reading, grammar, and writing. Language course sessions are 4 - 7 weeks.

This comprehensive and unique program functions to satisfy several student goals:

  • to pass the TOEFL
  • to use English for business or technical interests
  • to have a social and cultural understanding of the English Language

Class offerings are contingent on a minimum enrollment of 8 students.
Classes that do not have 8 students are subject to cancellation.

Pricing Information (Includes : tuition, books, and computer instruction. Not Included: application/testing, ID, parking, housing and meals. Prices are subject to change without notice.)

  • 7 Weeks 6 hours per day - $2,100 (For one level of proficiency, class will meet 5 days per week)
  • 7 Weeks 4 hours per day - $1,200 (For one half level of proficiency, class will meet 5 days per week)
  • 4 Weeks at 6 hours per day - $1,200 (For one half level of proficiency, class will meet 5 days per week)

 Additional Student Fees:

  • Student ID : $10 per year
  • Parking : $10 per 7 week session

Housing and Meal Rates:

  • Housing $200 - $435 per month (depending on type of housing)
  • Meals and incidentals $200 per month (estimated, varies)

Testing Fees (If student has official scores, no program assessment fee is needed.):

  • Program Assessment - $50
  • Official TOEFL - $150
